ShapedSocial
Shaped Social Ltd
We build calm apps for the people you actually see.
Most social software is designed for reach. Ours is designed for the handful of people who already matter to you.
How we work
Four commitments that shape every product decision we make.
Small groups first
We design for five people, not five million. Software feels different when it only has to serve the people you know.
Privacy by decision
Retention limits, deletion rules and quiet modes are written into the code, not just into a policy page.
Calm by default
No feeds, no follower counts, no engagement loops. A notification has to earn its place.
Independent
Self funded and advertising free. Our products are paid for by the people who use them.
What we are building
Circl
Circl is private location sharing for small, closed groups of friends. It is in closed beta on iOS and Android.
Closed beta
A small invite-only space, a live map of the people in it, and the places that matter to you.
Get in touch
Talk to a person, not a ticket queue.
We are a small team in London, England. If you are a journalist, a potential partner, or a group who would like early access to what we build, we would like to hear from you.
